Notice a difference? The Homeward website has been re-designed using standards published by the Web Accessibility initiative (WAI) to promote Web accessibility for people with disabilities and/or assistive devices.
Accessible sites allow all users to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact regardless of browser, resolution, settings, or eyesight. Some basic principles include validated HTML, appropriate use of tags, use of DIV layers rather than TABLES for page lay-out, and use of text-based navigation rather than image-based navigation.
