Learn together. Lead the way. House more people.

Thank you for your interest in Homeward's Building Housing-Focused Leaders Cohort!

This dynamic, 8-month leadership development program is designed specifically for case managers and housing navigators who are working every day to help individuals and families resolve homelessness. Participants from the Greater Richmond Continuum of Care (GRCoC)—serving the City of Richmond and the counties of Charles City, Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, and Powhatan—and the Crater Region —serving the Cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell, and Petersburg, and the counties of Brunswick, Dinwiddie, Greensville, Prince George, Surry, and Sussex—will strengthen their leadership skills, enhance their housing-focused practice, and build the knowledge and confidence needed to create lasting housing outcomes for the people they serve.

Through interactive workshops led by experienced trainers and subject matter experts, participants will:

  • Build leadership skills that prepare them to champion innovative solutions within their organizations and communities.
  • Strengthen housing-focused case management practices using evidence-based strategies and real-world applications.
  • Collaborate with peers from across the region, creating valuable professional relationships and learning from one another's experiences.
  • Participate in three interactive Housing Clinics, where you'll collaborate with fellow cohort members to explore real-world housing scenarios, discuss strategies, and apply best practices to strengthen your housing-focused problem-solving skills.

Great case managers and housing navigators don't just connect people to housing—they help transform lives. This cohort is an opportunity to build your skills, grow your confidence, and join a community of professionals committed to advancing homeless services across our region.
